One specific move professionals can implement today.
Get the email every WednesdayThe agent who said video wasn’t her thing just proved herself wrong
She flat-out refused to do home tours. I asked her to try exactly one. Four weeks later they were her best-performing content — not close, best.
I had six coaching calls this week where the client fought me on video. Six out of eight. And every one of those calls ended the same way. Except for one…

weeks later, home tours were her best-performing content
I met with an agent who flat-out refused to do home tours four weeks ago. She told me it wasn’t her thing. She literally wouldn’t budge from that fixed mindset.
I didn’t argue with her. I just asked her to try it once. One tour. If it flopped, she never had to do it again.
She did it. And this past week, home tours were her best-performing content. Not close. Best.
That’s the pattern I see every time
An agent fights me on video, tries it once because I ask, and can’t believe the numbers after.
And here’s the thing about YouTube that is vastly different from Instagram or Facebook: your views grow over time. It could be months later, but a single home tour filmed in August can gain traction in December. It’s not about going viral. It’s about being consistent even when you think you suck.
Resistance isn’t strategy. It’s just resistance.
It’s never about the tool, or the algorithm, or whether you’re a “camera person.” (I know, it’s not actually that deep.)
So if you’ve got a piece of content sitting in your head that you keep talking yourself out of — the walkthrough, the market update, the just-sold reel — that’s not a someday project. That’s your next Take It and Run moment.
The social media posting system
If the thing stopping you is the posting grind rather than the camera, we built a system for that too — it keeps content going out the door without staring at a blank screen every morning.
See the posting systemQuestions I get about this one
What if the first one really is bad? It will be. That’s the point of doing it once with no stakes attached — you find out that bad-and-posted outperforms perfect-and-imagined, and the second one is already better.
How long before I know if it’s working? On Instagram or Facebook, days. On YouTube, potentially months — which is exactly why you judge the habit and not the first video.
Film the one you’ve been avoiding.
Pick the one piece of video content you keep saying “not yet” to. Film it once this week. Raw is fine — don’t even watch it back.
Post it. Then look at your calendar for next week and schedule a one-hour block to do it again.
Stop listening to resistance. Start taking action on the strategies that are proving profitable for thousands of agents.
This exercise is designed to do one thing: set appointments. Track your progress and pay attention to what is converting.
