Turn Summit notes into action

Summit was four weeks ago, what have you implemented

Sep 3, 2026Watch on Instagram

Summit was four weeks ago. Be honest. What have you actually implemented? Not what you highlighted or starred in your notebook. What is on your calendar this week. If the answer is nothing, that is not a discipline problem. It is a sales problem, and the client you failed to close was you. Andrew Undem said it on Day 2. Sales is intellectually engaging someone on a future result that benefits them, then helping them emotionally commit to take action. You got the intellectual half at Summit. Nobody ran the commit step. So I wrote up all 30 sessions with the next move under each one.

Tom's five pillars and the one to lean into

Aug 28, 2026Watch on Instagram

Tom mapped it out. Five pillars, and every top performer runs on some version of all five. Natural talent, which you name and build on, not around. Work ethic, because Kobe was not gifted, he decided. A differentiated perspective, since one lens built the entire Corcoran brand. An engineered process, because Uber did not win on cars, they won on experience. And a strategically hired team, because nobody at the top operates alone. The question is not which ones you have. It is which one, with just 10% more of your attention, would unlock the next layer for you.

A full notebook is not a strategy until something is scheduled

Aug 11, 2026Watch on Instagram

We did not go to Summit to be entertained. We went to learn and implement. You came home with a full notebook, and that notebook is not a strategy until one thing inside it is on your calendar. Pick one. Run it today. Done is better than perfect. It is Tuesday, so take action, and tell somebody which one thing you are implementing this week so it stops being a note and becomes a commitment you have to keep.

I don't have time is the most expensive lie

Aug 13, 2026Watch on Instagram

I do not have time is the most expensive lie in real estate. You have the same 24 hours as the agent out-listing you. The difference is priorities. Pick the one thing that pays you, calls, video or follow-up, and do it first, before the day fills up with things that feel urgent and pay nothing. Swipe through all three and save the one that stings the most, because the one that called you out is the one you need to schedule tomorrow morning.

Ready is a decision, not a feeling

Jul 23, 2026Watch on Instagram

Stop waiting until you feel ready. You will never feel ready. The agent who presses go today is the one eating your lunch next quarter. Ready is a decision, not a feeling, so make it today. Whatever you have been circling, the waiting is costing you more than the imperfect version ever would. Decide, press go, and fix it as you run. The agents pulling ahead in your market are not more prepared than you. They just decided sooner.

You act your way out of fear

Jun 8, 2026Watch on Instagram

Action solves everything. You do not think your way out of fear. You act your way out. The first prospecting call is always the hardest. By the fifth, you are rolling. Fear of rejection is an automatic negative thought. It feels real. It is not. Stop waiting until you feel ready and take one action today. One call, one conversation, one thing you have been putting off. The feeling follows the action, not the other way around, and that is the whole point of this episode with Tom Ferry.

Run your numbers before you run your excuses

Jun 6, 2026Watch on Instagram

Run your numbers before you run your excuses. The market is hard. Rates are too high. Before that story becomes your quarter, check whether it is even true. Over 5,000 homes sold in my metro in the last 30 days. That is 10,000 commission checks. You are telling me you could not get one? The market is not the problem. Avoiding the work is. Run the numbers first, then make the calls. This came out of my conversation with Tom Ferry on the podcast, and it applies in every market.

Michael Leeson on becoming the person who can run the business

Ask who you are becoming, not what business to build

Aug 6, 2026Watch on Instagram

Stop asking what business you want to build. Michael Leeson's answer when asked what he is most focused on right now was different. He does not just want to look at what kind of business to build, but who he is becoming, so he can become the kind of person who can steward, run and lead the business he wants to have in the future. Not how do I build it. How do I become who I need to be. Your habits and routines right now are the best predictor of who you will be. The business follows the person, not the other way around.

No commission breath is a daily practice

Aug 4, 2026Watch on Instagram

If it all goes away tomorrow, I will be okay. Michael Leeson can say that honestly, not because he does not care about his business, but because his identity was never built on it. In his words, he does not need the next commission to build his ego or make him feel okay, so he can approach the business with generosity and from abundance rather than scarcity. He calls it no commission breath. It is a daily practice, not a one-time mindset, and it is why he can walk into every negotiation and every no without white-knuckling the outcome. You can say no and the relationship stays intact.

Michael Leeson's early morning has no scoreboard

Aug 3, 2026Watch on Instagram

He wakes up at 4:30am and the first thing he does is not check his phone. Michael Leeson's morning routine is simple. Up between 4:30 and 5. His first thought before anything else is I am loved, I am accepted, thank you for everything in front of me today. Then he makes coffee for himself and his wife, and hers is ready before she is downstairs. No hustle, no scoreboard, no proving anything before his feet hit the floor. As he put it on the episode, your habits and routines are the best predictors of who you will become. Not your production numbers.

You will get taken advantage of, so build anyway

Aug 1, 2026Watch on Instagram

Yes, you will get taken advantage of. Build your business anyway. Michael Leeson gets it. The number one thing holding agents back from being generous with clients is the fear of getting burned. Here is his answer. Five percent of people will take advantage of you, and that is a when, not a maybe. But 95% will reciprocate generosity, so do not build your entire business around the 5%. His rule is to pour out generosity with wisdom and parameters. If someone wastes your time or acts entitled, you have grace for them personally, but they do not get the same access.

Hit publish before you feel ready

Jul 13, 2026Watch on Instagram

This was the first video I ever recorded completely by myself. It took a lot of overthinking. The screen share fumbled and the lighting was not right. I almost did not post it. I posted it anyway. Here is what I know. The agents who win are not the ones with the best setup, the best camera or the perfect script. They are the ones who hit publish before they feel ready. Done is better than perfect, every time. Record the thing you have been overthinking. One take. Post it today.

It took fifteen minutes after six months of putting it off

Jun 3, 2026Watch on Instagram

I put something off for six months because I thought it would be complicated. It took 15 minutes. This is your sign to start using Blotato, because it is awesome, but the bigger point is not the tool. Sometimes the thing holding us back is not the task itself. It is the story we have told ourselves about how hard it will be. Your reminder today is to start messy, learn as you go, and take action. Done beats perfect every time, and the fifteen minutes are waiting whenever you are.

Accountability works when it is not personal

Let the scorecard be the bad guy

Jun 10, 2026Watch on Instagram

Two coaching calls, two different agents, same exact lesson. Accountability breaks the second it gets personal. So take the person out of it. You operate off a scorecard. The robot pulls the data and it is either green or red. You hit the metric or you did not. No story, no spin, no but here is what happened this week. The robot is the bad guy, not you. Build the scorecard, let it report automatically, then coach the red and celebrate the green. One setup. Do it messy.

Public accountability removes overwhelm instead of adding pressure

Jun 1, 2026Watch on Instagram

I used to think discipline was a personality trait I just did not have. It turns out it is not about willpower. It is about visibility. The moment I made my goals public and put one person in the position to ask me about them, the guesswork disappeared. I stopped negotiating with myself every morning. Katie said it on this week's episode and it stuck with me. Public accountability does not add pressure. It removes overwhelm, because you are no longer carrying the whole thing alone. Block 30 minutes this week, decide where you need accountability, and put one habit in place.

Lourdes Maestres on building from nothing

Lourdes went from food stamps to a $32.5M record sale

May 28, 2026Watch on Instagram

Lourdes Maestres went from food stamps to a $32.5M record sale in Fort Lauderdale, and she did not get there by accident. On episode 12 of Take It and Run she walks through the framework she used to build that business, the kind of thing worth pulling out at your next business planning session. The lesson is not the luxury price point. It is that she built the business on a framework she could follow and repeat, which is exactly why it belongs in your planning. Save it for the day you sit down to map your year.
