Take It and RunThe Blog
One specific move professionals can implement today.
Get the email every WednesdayThis is why posting content feels exhausting
Most agents don’t struggle with content because they’re bad at it. They struggle because they reinvent the wheel every single time they post.
If content feels exhausting, overwhelming, or like one more thing on your list, this is for you.
Most agents don’t struggle with content because they’re bad at it. They struggle because they’re trying to reinvent the wheel every time they post.
Here’s the truth: you don’t need more ideas. You need fewer buckets.
3
buckets are all you need. Authority, connection, conversion.
1
bucket per week. Pick it before you open the app.
1
post from that bucket. That is the entire system.
When you know exactly what types of content to create, showing up gets easier — and consistency stops feeling like burnout.
The three buckets every agent needs
1
Authority content — builds trust.Content that answers questions and positions you as the guide. Market insights. Buying and selling tips. “Here’s what I’m seeing right now” posts. Explaining the why behind pricing, timing or strategy. You don’t need to be the loudest — just clear and consistent.
Mini Take It and Run: write down five questions clients ask you all the time. Each one is a post.
2
Connection content — builds relationship.People don’t hire content machines, they hire humans. This bucket shows your personality, your values, your behind-the-scenes life, and what it’s actually like to work with you. This is where trust turns into loyalty.
Mini Take It and Run: share one real-life moment this week — a lesson, a win, a struggle, or something that made you laugh. Connection beats perfection.
3
Conversion content — builds business.Where you invite people to take the next step. “Here’s how I help sellers win.” Client stories or testimonials. Clear calls to action. Explaining your process or offer. If you never ask, people won’t assume.
Mini Take It and Run: create one post this week that clearly says who you help and how.
Consistency doesn’t come from doing more. It comes from making it simple enough that you actually follow through.
You don’t need to post every day. You don’t need to dance, trend-hop, or overshare. You just need a system that supports you rather than one that drains you.
Questions I get about this one
Only one post a week? That feels like too little. One post a week you actually publish beats five you plan and abandon. Once the habit holds, add volume — but earn the right to scale by proving you can sustain the floor first.
What if a post fits two buckets? Great, but pick the one you intended. The bucket is there to decide what the post is for before you write it, which is exactly the decision that makes it fast.
The lazy-proof rule.
Pick ONE bucket per week. Post ONE piece of content from that bucket.
That’s it. One post. One bucket. One step forward.
That’s how content starts working for you.
This exercise is designed to do one thing: set appointments. Track your progress and pay attention to what is converting.
